Despite geopolitical uncertainty and cautious capital spending in many sectors, precision grinding remains strong — especially in aerospace and defense sectors.
In 2025, Danobat delivered a historic record year, driven by demand for high-accuracy, automation-ready solutions in mission-critical applications. Shops are not just buying machines, they are investing in capability.
A defining moment was the recent launch of the new Overbeck IRD-300 at EMO Hannover. In my view, there is currently no ID/OD/Radius platform on the market that combines natural granite construction, compact footprint, fully integrated automation, linear motors, and direct-drive spindles as effectively as the IRD-300. This machine clearly sets a new benchmark!
Together with Hembrug’s hydrostatic hard-turning technology, Danobat’s grinding portfolio continues to raise the bar for precision, reliability, and process flexibility in demanding industries.
