Rey Technologies Inc., established in 2018, is a family-owned company headquartered in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Our mission is to empower industrial manufacturing and engineering firms by automating processes, boosting productivity, and maximizing profitability through strategic manufacturing partnerships. We specialize in serving the midwestern territories, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. Beyond this region, we maintain a robust network of sales and service representatives across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Daniel Rey, the founder of Rey Technologies, was born in Switzerland. His journey began with a four-year apprenticeship as a precision tool maker at Leica, a global optical instruments manufacturer. His exceptional skills earned him third place in the World Skills Championship in Leitz, Austria. Daniel then joined the applications team at Fritz Studer AG in Thun, Switzerland, where he honed his expertise in cylindrical OD/ID, thread, and non-round grinding. His passion for precision led him to the United States, where he contributed to the cutting tool manufacturing industry at EWAG Corporation.

With a solid foundation in sales from his tenure at United Grinding, Daniel continued to excel. He held leadership roles at Blaser Swisslube and Hardinge’s Grinding Group, further enhancing his understanding of customer needs. Taking the natural step toward company ownership, Daniel remains committed to providing the best manufacturing solutions for our valued clients.
